This 9 minute documentary explains what the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency does while deployed in order to recover and bring home missing Americans from previous wars. This particular deployment takes place in an austere village in Central Laos.

Peter Post, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran goes back to Khe Sanh, Vietnam in order to assist the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency in recovering two Marines who went missing in action during the Vietnam war who Mr. Post served with during his deployment. 

The Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) mission is to provide the fullest possible accounting for our missing personnel to their families and the nation. This is the video that showcases what DPAA can achieve and how this mission, is a sacred and important mission.



This video features Staff Sergeant Ethan Shrader, a U.S. Marine Corps EOD technician deployed with the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency to Laos in order to recover missing Airmen from the Vietnam war. This shows the task and life of what a EOD tech does during a deployment in South-East Asia.
